U.S. President elect Obama said at the annual meeting of the American Governors Association 2, that the US economy is facing a severe test. He will work with the governors of the whole country to work out the "revival plan" of the economy.

In the wake of the financial crisis, many states in the United States have been unable to sustain their financial deficits.

Some governors asked the federal government to provide emergency relief to 40 billion dollars in a state with financial crisis as a solution to medical expenses for the poor and the disabled.

In addition, the federal government should spend at least 100 billion dollars on large-scale infrastructure construction to stimulate local economy and create jobs.
