International Wool Textile Market News: Import Markets Of The United States, Japan And The European Union In 2024

In 2024, the import volume of American wool and textile products will total 4.2 billion dollars, up 0.8% year on year. Among them, the import of wool knitted clothing increased by 10.0%, and the import of wool woven clothing decreased by 3.8%. During the same period, the United States imported 1.05 billion dollars of wool textile products from China, up 6.1% year on year.

In 2024, Japan's wool textile imports will be 206.7 billion yen (about 1.38 billion dollars), down 1.6% year on year. In the same period, Japan imported 69.2 billion yen of wool textile products from China, down 9.4% year on year.

In 2024, EU wool textile imports (imports outside the EU) will amount to 4.57 billion euros (about 4.9 billion dollars), down 7.7% year on year. Among them, 1.63 billion euros were imported from China, down 6.1% year on year.
