The US Department of agriculture (USDA) reported in its weekly crop growth report that as of June 14, 2020, the US cotton growth rate was 43%, unchanged from the previous week, which is less than 49% of the same period last year. The cotton bud rate was 16% in the United States, which was 1 percentage points lower than that in the same period last year, which is the same as the average in the past five years. The market expects the core cotton region, which is worse than previously expected, but the weather forecast is not showing any signs of rain.
