Symposium On Intelligent Manufacturing Technology In Textile Industry Held At Xi'An Polytechnic University

Hosted by the Shaanxi Institute of mechanical engineering and hosted by Xi'an Polytechnic University, the "Symposium on Intelligent Manufacturing Technology in textile industry" was held in Lintong campus of Xi'an Polytechnic University in December 7, 2019. More than 100 well-known experts and scholars from more than ten famous universities, research institutes and enterprises in China participated in the seminar.

In recent years, as China's textile industry is generally faced with the shortage of textile fiber raw materials, the high cost of textile processing and production, the low degree of intellectualization of textile equipment and the lack of advantages in producing low and medium grade products, it is urgent to carry out the "transformation and upgrading" of the industry. Xi'an Polytechnic University is the only teaching and Research University in the West with the characteristics of textile and clothing. It actively responds to the "13th Five-Year development plan" of textile industry, relying on the dominant disciplines and industry influence of textile industry, explores the new mode of "four main bodies and one joint" school enterprise cooperation, and sets up the intelligent textile equipment Research Institute of Shaanxi province. It has carried out in-depth scientific research in the fields of key technologies of textile intelligent industrial robot, the key technology of intelligent textile flexible device preparation, weft knitting intelligent system and visible full molding CAD system, as well as the construction and key technology of textile enterprise intelligent workshop / factory.

At the seminar, experts and scholars focused on China's intelligent manufacturing technology and its development trend, the integration of artificial intelligence and textile industry, and the hot spots and difficulties of intelligent equipment and process technology in the textile industry. The purpose is to integrate relevant disciplines and professional resources, promote the cooperation and development of textile industry and intelligent manufacturing and other related industries, and promote technological innovation and technological upgrading of related industries, thus enhancing the intelligent level of the entire textile industry. The achievements of the conference will have an important impact on the future textile industry and play a positive role in promoting the sustainable and rapid development of domestic textile and related disciplines.
