Jinjiang successfully passed the reexamination of the national textile industrial cluster trial, and was awarded the title of "China's textile industry base city" and "China swimsuit industry city".

It is worth mentioning that, as of now, Shanghai, Longhu and Longhu have been listed in the list of famous towns of the textile industry. Among them, Shen Hu has won the title of "China's famous underwear town". Ying Lin has been awarded the title of "China's famous town of leisure wear".

In 2004, Jinjiang was awarded the title of "China's textile industry base city" for the first time. In 2017, Jinjiang was awarded the title of "China swimsuit industry city" for the first time. In accordance with the regulations of the China Federation of textile industry for a review of the three years of the textile industrial cluster pilot area, this year, the China Textile Industry Federation industrial cluster Working Committee has passed the examination of the self evaluation report of the textile industrial cluster area and the completion of the main economic indicators (2016-2019 years), and has conducted discussions and discussions with the relevant provinces, autonomous regions, textile industry associations, industry and Information Committee and other relevant units and departments. After the repeated discussions by the China Textile Industry Federation industrial group committee, the China Federation of Textile Federation's office has approved, and finally identified 197 areas as the pilot area of the textile industrial cluster, and lifted the pilot relationship between 19 regional clusters. In the 197 pilot areas, Jinjiang has two seats and three titles.
