The eighth Burma international textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition (MTG), which is the annual event of Burma's textile and garment industry, came to a close yesterday. At the same time, it exhibited the Mita Tex and Burma International Textile Printing Industry Exhibition (Myanmar TEXPRINT).

Burma international textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition (MTG), as the largest textile and garment industry exhibition in Burma, has been strongly supported and recommended by Burma Garment Association and Burma chamber of Commerce and industry. The China Textile Machinery Association is the general agent of the exhibition in mainland China.

This exhibition is regarded as the communication platform of Burma's best textile industry, attracting more than 300 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions, including China, France, Hongkong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Burma, Singapore, South Korea, China Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The exhibits include textile and garment machinery, chemical fiber raw materials, yarn, cloth and so on. It is expected to attract more than 8600 visitors.

MTG will bring together international brands, visitors can easily find the required industrial machinery or cloth, such as: weaving machinery, chemical fiber and other textile machinery; Changshu Bailian automatic filling machine; MIMAKI's new digital printing machine; BOK's new cutting machine; DINGZING's high-performance high-tech film and advanced composite materials; EVERLIGHT CHEMICAL's high-end energy-saving dyes; FORBES MARSHALL efficient energy conversion steam steaming and steam equipment; KAUO HENG high efficiency flat knitting machine; TAJIMA, HENG and computer embroidery machine.

In the past, the cost and quality of textile and garment products in Burma were more difficult to compete with neighbouring counterparts. In order to enhance competitiveness, more and more textile and garment manufacturers in Burma are actively seeking the latest technology and machinery to improve their production level and launch products with higher added value and wider range.
