During The May 1 Period, Sasa International Retail Sales In Hong Kong And Macao Fell By 0.4% Year-On-Year.

In May 8th, Sasa International announced the "Five" from May 1, 2019 to May 4th.

During the Labor Day holiday, Sasa international retail sales in Hong Kong and Macao recorded an annual decline of 0.4%, while same store sales fell 4.8%.

The announcement shows that the five day period with 3 days in 2018?

Compared with the Labor Day holiday, Sasa international retail sales in Hong Kong and Macao fell by 3.9% year-on-year, while the volume of mainland customers increased by 3%, but the average amount of each paction dropped by 5.8%, resulting in a 3% decline in the turnover of mainland customers.

Same store sales recorded a 8.3% decline, with sales of local and mainland customers down by 2.8% and 9.1% respectively.

This year's trend of product fading and intensified competition has affected group sales performance.

The group is adjusting its product mix to speed up the introduction of new products and trend products to cater to the changing needs of customers.

In April 26th, the group launched the FANBEAUTY sea grape moisture moisturizing mask created by Fan Bingbing, a well-known Chinese female artist, in April 26th. It became the world's first cosmetics retail outlet for the new product, and it was also sold in the stores of Hong Kong and Macao from April 29th.

The new product has enriched the original product mix. Star effect and product utility attract more visitors to visit and understand, and successfully promote the flow of people and sales.

Looking back at Sasa International's 2018/2019 fiscal year ending March 31st, sales in Hong Kong and Macao rose 15.8% in 4-9, down 3.7% in the third quarter, and over 10% in the fourth quarter, below industry performance.

According to Sasa International's unaudited new sales data for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2019, the sales volume of continuing operations amounted to HK $2 billion 56 million 400 thousand, an annual decrease of 7.2%, and retail stores increased 9 to 274 compared to the same period last year.
