In the following research, we began to try to improve the hairiness index by using the spun front area collectors, which achieved good results and achieved the purpose of improving yarn quality.

The function of the collector is to shrink the width of the yarn, reduce the twisting triangle area, make the yarn twisted in a more compact state, make the yarn structure compact, the appearance clean, the hairiness less and the strength increase. At the same time, it can also prevent the loss of the edge fibers, reduce the flying flowers, reduce the roll flowers and save the cotton.

At present, there are 2 kinds of collectors in China.

Aggregator

The two kinds of aggregators produced by a company are tested under the same spindle and roving condition. The results show that the two bar collectors have good effect on the yarn quality.

In the experiment of bellows white flowers, the 8 hour and 420 spindles no collection device was 0.5639, the use of double collectors was 0.4179, and the frame collector was 0.4529.

If 30 thousand spindles are used each year, they can save 11.51 tons of cotton and the efficiency is considerable.

Based on the test data, we began spinning on two spinning frames.

After a period of time, the effect is ideal.

But after a large area of use, there are many problems such as collector beating, cot surface blackening, collector damage, improper installation, sudden yarn defects and so on.

As for the jitter of collectors, we start from the source. Every new collector should be selected for inspection, including the deformation of the wire frame and the cleaning of burrs at the opening.

Because all of our factories use pneumatic cradle, the collectors are hung on the cradle pin springs, which makes the collectors stable, unbalanced in operation and jitter with the cots.

In view of this situation, first of all, we treated the surface of the cots with light, reducing the surface roughness, reducing the friction between the surface of the cots and the collectors. At the same time, we moved the cradle and the upper pin springs to make them in a suitable position.

After installing the collector and pressing the cradle, the upper pin, the collectors and the roller are three stable, avoiding the collision between the epithelial circle and the collectors, and the collectors beating caused by the unstable steel frame.

After assembling the collector, it is found that the distance between the floating areas is too small, which directly causes the collectors to be tightly attached to the rollers during the operation. The clearance of the collectors is too small, causing the friction between the collectors and the cots to be larger, causing many cots surface to be blackened, heated, damaged and slotting, and there are many short lints on the openings of the collector.

In view of this problem, combined with the actual situation, the iron roller was moved from the original 46 millimeter scale to 47 millimeter, and the front cot was changed from front to 3 mm to 4 mm before. After adjusting the distance between the floating areas, the number of the roller's blackening and abrasion decreased greatly and played a very good role.

In addition to reducing friction between cots and rollers, the traversing should also be flexible.

Because the collectors are hung on the upper pin springs, they are driven by the pverse movement of the sliver to move the left and right sides. This requires that the pverse motion device of the spinning frame must be flexible and guaranteed to be between 7~9 mm.

In addition, the spinning cycle of the spinning frame is about 15~20 days. The surface of the cots is sticky due to the accumulation of cotton wax. The cots are easy to be disturbed after cleaning the machine and getting on the train. Therefore, the talcum powder can be properly treated to keep the surface of the rubber roller dry and clean, and reduce friction.
