The People'S Republic Of Bangladesh

Affected by the world economy, Bangladesh's export volume decreased by 8% in October this year, so that the whole economy was also implicated.

Economists believe that the 2009 new year is crucial to the Bangladesh economy and hopes that the government will take appropriate measures to deal with the crisis.

In the past four months, the export of leather industry also declined. In July to October, leather exports amounted to 7.124 million US dollars, 26.4 percentage points lower than the expected target, and 16.25 percentage points lower than the previous year.

Exports were expected to be US $96 million 800 thousand over the same period.

The International Monetary Fund says the global financial crisis will last for at least one year in Asia.

The Asian Development Bank said that we should make adequate preparations for further economic recession next year to prevent further deterioration of the world economic situation.
