A few days ago, the reporter learned from the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau that the national mandatory standard of leather jointly formulated by the China leather and footwear industry research institute and the national fur quality supervision and inspection center and other institutions and units will be formally implemented on the 1 day of next month.

People said that the national mandatory standards for leather have been carefully classified, including class A: infant products and B: products that are directly exposed to the skin and class C: products that are not directly exposed to the skin.

According to introducing, shoe business belongs to C class standard.

Prior to that, there is no standard for the supervision of leather quality. If the leather national mandatory standards are implemented next month, many footwear enterprises will not be able to use leather and the finished products will not be qualified.
