According to the statistics of Vietnam customs administration, Vietnam (2011) 6 months ago

The amount of textiles amounted to US $6 billion 260 million, up 29.77% from the same period last year, accounting for 14.54% of the total exports of Vietnam in the first 6 months of this year, of which $1 billion 320 million was exported in June this year, up 33.71% over the same period last year.


Vietnam exported mainly to the United States ($3 billion 180 million) and Japan ($712 million 490 thousand) in the first 6 months of this year, up 15.61% and 48.03% respectively over the same period last year.

Countries with more than $100 million, including South Korea ($314 million 820 thousand), Germany ($277 million 620 thousand), UK ($207 million 610 thousand), Spain (178 million 260 thousand US dollars), Canada ($120 million 360 thousand) and Holland ($106 million 120 thousand).

However, Vietnam's textile exports to Egypt and Laos in the first 6 months of this year declined by 21.73% and 1.61% respectively compared with the same period last year.
