ANNA SUI-- Anna Sui Development History

As the third generation of Chinese immigrants, Anna Sui was born in Detroit, USA in 1955. His father is a structural engineer and his mother is a full-time housewife. In the student days, Anna Sui often cut out some pictures from magazines, and set future dreams in fashion design.

 

In the 70s of last century, Anna Sui went to Parsons Design College in New York to learn costume design, but she only stayed in school for a year and dropped out of school in second years. Her reason is that school courses are boring and waste time. After leaving school, Anna Sui went to a women's clothing company as an assistant. Although the company was closed for a year and a half, Anna Sui was familiar with the fabric market. She knew where to find the best materials and what the best prices were.
 

Over the next 5 years, Anna Sui has switched to many companies, learning a variety of clothing design and fabric knowledge. In 1980, she made 4 costumes and displayed them in a clothing store. Soon, she got the order from the famous Messi and Brown Ming Dale department store. "Anna Sui (Anna Sui)" brand began to build a reputation.
 

In the 80s of last century, there was a major change in the fashion design industry. No matter at formal banquet or other occasions, people no longer wore the same designer's clothes from head to toe. Soon, fashion revival prevail in fashion circles. Anna Sui realized that her chance was coming: "I feel at once that this is my best design, and I believe I will be lucky."

In 1991, Anna Sui released its first fashion show and opened its first boutique in New York. In 1996, Anna Sui set up Asia's first boutique in Tokyo and set off a purple cyclone in Japan. The smart Japanese saw business opportunities from Anna Sui's style, and the group finally reached an agreement with Anna Sui to authorize Alan bean to develop Anna Sui brand cosmetics.

In 1998, Anna Sui cosmetics were officially born in Japan.
