The cotton field technology promotion, scientific research, teaching unit and related seedlings were collected from 8 provinces and cities in Tianjin, Hebei, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan and Hubei.

Soilless Seedling Raising
The test and demonstration of mechanical pplanting technology fully affirmed the effect of mechanical pplanting of cotton seedlings.
The delegates agreed that mechanical pplanting of cotton seedlings can greatly reduce the labor intensity of cotton seed and improve the standardized level of cotton seedling pplant without soil. It is a new bright spot and a work goal to be worked hard to achieve in the future. We should deepen the experimental demonstration work, and intensify our efforts in shaping cotton pplanting machines, striving for agricultural subsidies, matching cotton seedling technology and working out regulations.
The conference also exchanged the progress of cotton Soilless Seedling Transplanting and supporting technology demonstration and extension in 2010.
Since the beginning of this year, Shandong, Henan, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Tianjin, Hebei and other provinces (cities) have carried out the demonstration and promotion of cotton Soilless Seedling Raising and pplanting technology in line with the implementation of cotton high yield creation activities. New progress has been made in deepening experiments, improving technology, strengthening training, stationing guidance, strengthening propaganda, carrying out observation and exploration, planting cotton mechanically and promoting industrial operation.
In particular, some localities actively strive for the support and input of the government and relevant departments in this work, so that the promotion area will be expanded rapidly: for example, the promotion area of cotton Soilless Seedling Raising and pplanting technology in Wuwei County, Anhui province has increased from 500 mu last year to 5000 mu this year; the popularization of Hebei Qiuxian has reached 10 thousand mu, accounting for 100% of the cotton area in the county.
In addition, the conference also put forward many suggestions on how to further popularize the pplanting technology of Soilless Seedling.
