In recent years, Shishi is committed to adjusting the industrial structure, increasing the strength of the development of the six other pillar industries besides textile and clothing, and constantly promoting the development of footwear, hardware, machinery, printing and packaging, sporting goods, food processing, electronic information and other industries, not only "separating the eggs from the basket", but also making efforts to increase the number of "basket" eggs. According to the analysis and prediction of the industrial development situation of the "mid 11th Five-Year" development by the relevant departments of the city, the six major industries of Shishi had a larger development in 2010, and the output value of shoes and footwear materials could reach 8 billion yuan.
Since the beginning of this year, the industrial park of Bao Gai shoes has been put into operation gradually, and a large number of new and old footwear enterprises have grown significantly in size. With the introduction and commissioning of a number of advanced shoe production lines, the total volume and enterprise level of Shishi shoe and footwear materials industry have been further expanded and improved. On the other hand, the backbone leading shoe enterprises are developing rapidly, and the rich birds invest more than 1 billion in the shoe industrial park, which has built 122 acres of land in Hongshan. After the completion, the production of the middle and high grade casual leather shoes will increase exponentially, and the Mu Lin Sen group will extend the production base of the shoe industry with 100 mu in the first phase, and 8 million pairs of casual leather shoes will be produced annually. In addition, the number of shoe manufacturers such as ho TSE Sheng has expanded further, and advanced production lines have been introduced one after another. The responsible person of the Municipal Bureau of Economic Affairs said that the construction and development of this group of key footwear enterprises will effectively bring the development of Shishi shoes and footwear materials to the whole industry.
