Provincial Footwear Quality Inspection Center Is Expected To Spend In Jiangdu

On the same day, the leaders of the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau inspected the landing work of the footwear industry and the provincial inspection center of our city.

Our city is the traditional town of shoemaking. At present, the city has 759 leather shoes manufacturers, 432 shoe material sales enterprises, about 70000000 pairs of leather shoes and more than 30 thousand employees. It is known as "shoes capital of eastern China" and its annual output value is as high as 4 billion yuan.

But the shortage of our footwear industry is also obvious. We need to make scientific planning and correct guidance. The landing of the provincial inspection center will play a positive role in promoting the development of the footwear industry.

The center plans to build a high level inspection institution which covers technology supervision, technology research and development, technical service, technical training, and has an impact on the domestic market. It will enhance the competitiveness of the whole leather and rubber products industry in our country at home and abroad.

On this basis, our city plans to create 2 brand-name products in China in 2010, and create 5 national inspection free products, and strive to build Jiangdu into the largest, best quality and highest reputation footwear production base in China within two years.

The inspection group visited the new office building of the Jiangdu Quality Supervision Bureau under construction, the golden pride shoe industry and the planned provincial quality inspection center plot, and thought that the footwear industry in our city had a thick foundation, early start and great potential for development. At the same time, it said it would actively work for Jiangdu, the provincial inspection center.
